No Hardnfast, I don't believe they have dropped it forever(firefighting) or some of the others I mentioned, they have just been placed on the backburner as far as I know, for security reasons IMHO, the only tech outside military weapons that "MAY" get up is Starchase, because it is intended to be used by police perhaps? not that they haven't lost weapons in the past though!and even then MST tried to hide the fact that they were actually supplying launchers and ammo, they wanted us to believe that they were providing engineering services to starchase, and that to me implies that they were trying to hide it! they wqanted us to believe that starchase was ooperated by compressed air, there was much discussion about this on the other thread, my argument was "well what the hell would MST be doing there with Starchase using compressed air" it didn't make any sense!
