    Today's announcement might be significant as there is potential for follow-on contract from Lockheed Martin which was the major defence contractor Metal Storm fulfilled the contract for. The original announcement of 16 Jan 08 specified "further potential" longer term. Providing Lockheed Martin's program is viable and ongoing, we might expect another announcement from Metal Storm in the new year for follow-on work.
