Fred "IT IS" MST technology,I believe discussions on who owns which part of the tech have already been discussed, the DSTO have helped in the refinement with sealing problems, and overpressure, but the "enabling technology" definately belongs to MST, of that there is no doubt! and it (mach 5/50) can be achieved in two ways, either stacked round or stacked propellant technology,and MST has the patents covered on both, and by either electronic firing or cap firing, so they have it stiched up, as far as the patents go, I believe, and Royalties will stem from this to MST, and some to the DSTO,if the tech is used, or I should say when the tech is used,I believed the tech will be used under licence to make things like artillery pieces or naval guns etc, and ammo for such weapons, MST will benefit in tech know how, for some of the smaller weapons in MST's future armory of high pressure weapons coming soon,onced the Low pressure weapons like the 3GL or Firestorm are bedded down, and even they may evolve into high pressure weapons if they aren't already in the process of doing so, things like the BFMG, sniper rifle, or even the rifle part of the AICW will also benefit from this tech, and remember if they can do it at 60mm, then smaller calibres will be a synch compared to that, IMHO.
