09.07.04 MERGER WITH CAMBRIAN MINING PLC Further to the Company’s advice on 3 May 2004, applications seeking orders from the Supreme Court of Victoria to convene meetings of share and option holders to consider the proposed Schemes of Arrangement between Deepgreen and Cambrian have been adjourned until 23 July 2004. As previously advised the boards of Deepgreen and its major shareholder, Cambrian Mining Plc, have agreed to merge the two companies through the Schemes of Arrangement. Under the terms of the Schemes, Deepgreen shareholders will receive one share in Cambrian for every 24 shares they hold and Deepgreen option holders will receive one Cambrian share for every 75 options they hold.
