jnikau,
IDM has 700 shareholders, the top 20 own 74%. The two biggest (Macquarie Bank and the incredibly smart U.S. resources hedge fund Sentient Group) own over 50%, both will be longterm holders of the stock. They were the big backers of Andean Resources, which was recently bought out for a monty. The CEO Phil Garrat also owns 27m odd shares. So yes, tightly held but a very interesting mix.
But just on your point about "nothing to add". Be under no illusion, where there is a good project, there are smart investors, no matter what the product is. I know there are people watching every step of this project, they're just keeping a low profile and not posting, probably because they're still buying stock. How do I know? read the last line of my posts.
I wrote indepth last year on the CTN thread titled "improving" dated: 1/11/2010. I then started to receive emails from the H.C. crew.
I recently wrote about IDM without giving away the code, the H.C. posters that like to go searching did find it, how do I know (again, they emailed me).
Here's my posts.

So don't worry about the lack of interest, there are people following IDM and they all they all know that 24c is just the beginning. You only need look at Iluka's price to see that this project could be anything, just the canny investors are not saying anything about it.
Regards
Pep
