I also get the free Inside Trader report and this little gem was emailed to me.
Basically Mr Nielson and friends try and track the smart money and trade with them.
He has several criteria, some of which are: 1. Signs of Smart Money entering a stock as defined by increased average parcel size on the buy side (they don't buy in on market, they sit and wait for sell orders to come to them).
2. Director buying, of which we have seen with a substantial amount, skin in the game makes for more commitment.
3. Good story, upcoming news flow, price movement catalysts. Something for the Smart Money to use to push the price up and distribute, like on the 11/1/11 or there abouts.
And some other criteria that I don't really know much of. Directors buying and smart money activity are the major points though.
Just remember that Insider Trader followers and similar are in it for the short/medium term. So take your profits when the SP move up.
I'll be looking for a good entry. Depending on the overall market Tomorrow may be good, a strong green day would be best.
