up 8 per cent on asx at 3pm

ahah sorry was giving some tongue and cheek to Boondog who stayed up until 1am saturday morning to post that eqn was down 9% on tsx a few trading days ago

eqn is a high moving stock and has a lot of volitility. to think we were down near $3 only 3 or 4 trading days ago and now up near $3.80 today is a 25% increase.

long term this is a great company no one can deny that. i guess if you want to trade this too as many people are doign there is plenty of money to be made too.

interesting to see when we see eqn head back up to a more fair value a lot of the baggers saying the company is only worth $1.50-$2 etc all disappear nice and fast.

also noticed Ausenco have again come out and said that they anticipate the commencement of mining for eqn to be october and not december 08 as defensively anticipated by eqn management (i gather this was so they dont dissapoint the market and anything that happens earlier than december is a bonus)

so roughly 8 weeks out from the $$ to start rolling in. Copper is still $3+ so all is looking good for eqn. looking like worst is behind us and the next few weeks will be good. lots of constant buying today too which is a good sign.
