And you accuse me of being emotional! Why dont we stick to facts.
1. You quoted $15m in license fees in the last quarterly. The quarterly says $2.5m. This is still cashflow negative. Even if it turns around the patent suite re Junk DNA is either expired or close to. GTG has failed to build a sustainable business outside licensing and has a very short time fuse to do so.
2. What are the ongoing suite of patents actually patenting? New IP? What IP? It certainly isnt Junk DNA. Dont make statements re new patents when the new patents (if they exist) do not and cannot have anything to do with the old junk DNA patents which is the SOLE focus of licensing activity.
3. Re Merv's involvement if you truly believe he is such a maestro at getting licenses you would be selling out of GTG as you can't do much licensing from a prison cell. The reality is licensing has nothing to do with science, it has everything to do the economic cost of legal enforcement - licensing 101.
4. So let me get this right the former head of the NCSC, a former Treasurer of Australia, a vice chancellor of a major university and a former CFO of BP all got it wrong and Merv was right re the former CEO?
5. Of my experience of venture capital funds (which is quite extensive) is that they bottom feed. Do you seriously expect the world to believe that the US capital markets were unable to raise $1.5m for an opportunity if it was worth many times more this. Now who is being naive.
6. Brevagen may be verifed and may be marketable but that doesnt alone make it successful - you have to spend millions promoting for which GTG neither has the money or expertise. It is NOT a diagnostic nor it is a cure. It is a huge task to convince specialists to use such a product -not impossible but a huge task, one which GTG is simply not up to. I find it interesting that you state GTG in providing cancer therapies - care to name one have they gone into the drug discovery business?
Geminiguy, just how long it your position in GTG. Optimism is one thing but blind faith is another. You have your view, I have mine but at least mine is based of having my eyes open.
