Recently government subsidises $10 per bed per day for all aged care companies.
From last half report, REG has 1.165M bed days per year (X $10 per day subsidy), this is roughly $11.65M. This is equivalent to half a year NPAT. If they improve the occupancy rate, this could even better. The room for improvement could be more than 10+%.
Time to think outside of JHC before it is too late. At lease REG has dividend to pay while JHC has stopped for a long time.
