Can you clarify exactly what you mean by that? Some evidence, or better still, some proper reasoning and analysis?

Because my reading of the PDN chart is that while there is certainly a gap that may backfill (although I suspect it is a breakaway gap and thus may never fill), the momentum has changed and is now upwards. The upsurge of the last week or two is on much better volumes than we've seen for some time, the Volume Flow Indicator (VFI) has crossed up above the zero line - a very good sign - and while yesterdays down bar was on big volume too, this would be entirely consistent with profit-taking rather than shorting. Of course there would be some shorting in there as well - betting on the profit taking knocking the price back in the short term - but I suspect we'll see yesterday as a higher low, and the uptrend resume over the next day or two.

So with all due respect, what exactly do you mean by "technicals looking pretty poor"?
