sacd, I suggest you read my posts earlier in the thread to understand the difference between cyclical and secular bulls.
when the secular bull ended late 1999 we were around 11000 and something mark. by 2002 we were closer to 7000. yes we had a CYCLICAL bull and we breached 14000. but where are we now nearly 9 years later ?? more or less back where we started at the end of the secular bull....
the secular bull saw a move up for many years even if there are blips like the 87 crash and the early 90s recession along the way.
