In all honesty I haven’t looked at MFG main holdings. However if the US interest rate do rise next year, one would expect some sort of risk aversion. It’s just natural economical for peak cycle to eventually wind down.
those positions will get hit regardless, unless he plans to short or cash out beforehand
now I’m no genuius, but the odds are against US equities next year. How bad no one knows and it may end up being nothing.
Anyway, if market corrects then Hamish have one last opportunity to prove his worth in my books
