Many of the projects owned by the Company host known zinc mineralisation, including advanced project areas with potential for early definition of mineral resources, and substantial drilling is planned.
The Company considers the outlook for zinc demand and price to be very strong. There is a widening global supply deficit, and significant expansion is likely in demand for zinc particularly in China and India.
Zinc Co has assembled an experienced Board of Directors, with appropriate skills. The appointment of Tony Hespe as General Manager is especially significant as he brings to the Company considerable zinc exploration and mining expertise. Tony is one of the most experienced and well credentialed base metals geologists in Australia, having previously headed base metals exploration teams at Aberfoyle Resources Ltd and Western Metals Ltd.znc
