Ultimately the question is whether or not certain distributiom channels deliver useful revenue to suppliers. If they do, then those suppliers will survive. Middlemen do not exist as an act of altruism by the likes of Qantas.The death of the travel middleman has been heralded by many for a long time. Qantas cannot unilaterally dictate their demise. In fact, i suggest as things eventually renormalize, Qantas will be back cap in hand.
