As covid hit I had 3 trips booked with connecting flights and accommodation through 3rd party sites/apps.
The parts my travel insurance didn’t cover cost me a fair chunk of coin. In particular the connecting flights where only the first leg of the journey was refunded.
I can see lots of customers like myself booking flights direct with airlines rather than 3rd party websites and Flight Center with all their warranties and guarantees.
Peace of mind will be a huge seller from now on.
