Lots of green about the place in the past week. I think the lack of macro headwinds must be playing a big part; the volatility in the market over the last 3 months has kept a heck of a lot of money out of equities when 'risk off' mode in play, so under thin volumes a lot of companies beaten down badly.
Who knows whether the current turn in sentiment to 'risk on' will remain in the near future? If it does, there may be a growing turnaround as weekly, monthly, then LT MA trends break upwards. It's like not having to swim into the tide - finally able to move forward.
Then again, I still have the feeling we're just one bad bond auction in Europe away from a switch back in sentiment, so who knows what coming weeks will bring.
