@moondoong; it's long been my view that Australia's Constitution is fundamentally flawed, fraudulent, archaic and intentionally designed to prevent it ever being changed.
If we needed proof of how unfit for purpose it is, we need only look at what's happened on the floor of Parliament during the last twenty years.
Given the failure of modern day Labor to address the issue I now favour the demerging of Australian states into their former status as sovereign states and the abolition of our federal government.
