Normally there is a falling away of volume by day 1 or 2 after publication of a positive media story on a stock.

However yesterday's GAU volume was an alltime record, and today's was roughly the same. And of course that volume was mostly buyers, as the surging price reflects.

That is unusual, and normally suggests a powerful run into the second week.
