best time to make an acquisition in a sector is when fear and pessimism make the buying on your own terms.
The RAMS acquisition was a case in point. They eliminate a competitor putting downward pressure on mortgage pricing, and expand their own mortgage market footprint. This is the time to be buying the high yielding stocks. Look for the big volume days to tell you they are close to the bottom.
