i think the gold miners ( including SLR who I hold) would be smart to pull back production in the current spot price games with gold.
they can keep it ticking over, fend of any speculative take overs and hope others in the industry think similar to help keep the POG up, (like opecs attitude to oil)
i consider the slowing in the worlds economy, the liklihood of Eu-QE and the shortages of physical gold will all play into a higher gold price by the end of teh northern summer.
