Got to stick up for canonman here,heres an example for those that just dont get it.
I have 100k shares at average price of 52c so my total investment is $52k,i sell all my 100k shares at 90c giving me $90k but i then buy back at 75c with my $90k giving me 120k shares.
I then own 120k shares from my initial investment of $52k
$52k / 120000 shares = average price of 0.43c, thus i have lowered my average price from 52c to 43 by selling high and buying back lower.
Its not rocket science! Go NST
