This is typical scenario where retail investors are scared out of stocks and the pro’s win big time. The share price decline of 33 percent plus in 2 weeks is NOT about fundamentals. Sure, the rise in rates adds uncertainty and threatens some softening in ad markets. There might be a hit to ebitda in the coming year, for example, of $25m (or as klogg advised so well, 13 percent of legacy business ebitda). This is speculation but accords with the worst annual falls of years past.if you capitalise $25m at 3.5x ebitda (an approximation of the full stock multiple)this would account for $88m of the fall. The stock has lost $350m of value. Go figure? Manipulation taking advantage of interest rate yncertainty, tax-loss selling period, ukraine, US weakness etc. way too much bad news is now IMO baked into the stock price at 42c. Thus is a stock that gas been beating guidance, drastically reducing net debt, cutting costs, leading TV ratings, building a leading market position in a growth sector (BVOD), securing agreements with FB etc for payment for content. The big end of town is deliberately creating fear and frustration to accumulate a very undervalued stock - one which will soon resume dividend payments on a scale making the yield attractive to a large investor base who will have been ignoring it for 3 years. All my opinion. Do not be fooled!
