Because I don't believe on the evidence as I see it, that they think like that. IMO more likely to be something like 1c followed by an interim dividend, maybe similar, such that the yield is reasonable - just shy of 4% on the current price. Of course they have more than adequate balance sheet capacity; I've said that all along. But IMO they are more interested in doing transformative corporate deals than returning capital to shareholders, and they want significant BS capacity for that.
