Interesting thought. It's not like he couldn't afford to throw cash at buying up the minorities to get a blocking stake. Although the task gets a little more difficult with the ongoing reduction in free float (from the buyback). But to what objective?
There was a time the mega rich used to compete against each other for profits and bragging rights, these days any ructions are usually minor and temporary.
I don't see this particular megaphone getting prised out of its current hands.
