I think one also needs to look at the charts to see how chartists will be positioning themselves. For myself I don't invest or speculate based on charts, but I accept others do and this can influence market pricing.
The 600k share buy back yesterday represents around 15% of yesterdays volume which is decent.
I captured tax loss selling (to offset my FY23 tax) a few days ago, and went back in today at 110% of previous holding (ie added slightly to the position).
Not a large holding for me at just 1.5% of the portfolio, but a good proportion of this mornings action will be me, so I suggest not looking at the upwards movement in the share price, its just me re-buying in.
