Interesting FY23 announcement by Boral (as with SWM, is controlled by Stokes through Seven Group Holdings) today:

- Profit up 302% to $147m and ahead of analyst expectations ($123m);
- EBIT up 21% to $235m
- Adjusted earnings per share of 12.9 cents, beating analyst expectations of 11.0 cents.
- Analyst expectations were for a 4 cent dividend.

Actual dividend announced: ZERO / Zip / Nada

Despite wishes and hopes, unfortunately I fear a similar fate may await the minority SWM holders when SWM announces FY23. I hope I am wrong, but there is quite a pattern developing (first SWM over the years and now Boral).
