Interesting opinion, I tend to agree with you. A couple of observations:
The last time shares were bought back was on 3/07/2023, the proposed date the buyback is to end is 30/08/2023.
I assume they've ceased it now as results announcement is fast approaching, do we think the intention to continue the buyback following that up until the 30th?
They've only bought back 39 million of the 159 million maximum securities to be bought back. Thats roughly 2.5% of the total securities on issue.
I hope they announce a dividend, the sentiment in the 2022 financials was that they are endeavouring to reintroduce them at some point.
