I think we are just trying to guess why the SP craters. The reality is the SP drops because of performance. Simple as that. If they borrow to pay divi and the SP craters then we say management was not prident and responsible for the SP decay. If you invest for the long term, these divi make no difference to the fundamentals. Short term, it's a mug game.
