Interesting article today in the AFR re the negotiations that are being held between Google/Facebook et al and the media companies including Channel 7 and Channel 9. Will be interesting to see what figures are put in the Yearly Report for this expected revenue, as it is an unexpected boon that would not have been considered this time last year, and may help plug the hole in respect of any lost revenue due to COVID.
In other news, it seems the SP is going to bounce between .115 and .125 today, and likely finish flat again. Have been seeing on a few shares in the run up to their Yearly they increase circa 10-20% and then whether the results are good or bad, this will determine whether the SP then goes up or down. As such, it could be another day or two of no movement at the station, before we start seeing buying on Friday/Monday. Then it will all come down to how good the results and forward looking strategy is...
