VPG has had a more bumpier ride than GPT in the last few weeks....GPT has moved in a very narrow channel between 59c and 54c....the volume done on GPT has been very good....so if it breaks above this channel, it will be a good move as it has churned a lot in this narrow range....
VPG has had a bit of a slash and a dramatic rise from the lows....the drop was on a big chunk, but was surprised to see the increase back to almost normal price at lower than expected volumes....so by the looks of it, it could have been someone desperate to walk out of VPG at any / all costs...that is good news IMO...
The other difference in these two companies is that GPT is paying a miniscule dividend, whereas VPG is a few quarters away from doing so....
Interesting times ahead for both...I hold only these two REITs since the last 7-8 months....
