My only win in a court was when I decided to represent myself, at a great risk. However, the magistrate walked me through the procedures and we made it, discrediting the government agency pressing the charge.
My biggest loss in a court was the "unloseable" case against a civil contractor who walked off the job on day one because he realised he had got his price wrong, and the magistrate thought it unreasonable that I should hold him to his contract!
Never punt on the decision of the court was my lesson although, in this case, I am prepared to sit and wait because the fundamentals at least look reasonable and, we are not talking about sheep stations here. I reduced my exposure a long time ago and am now willing to see it out, still holding a reasonable hand.
Good luck guys/gals
