Management claimed that all technical issues checked out Ok and asked for an extension of 2 months to sort out some stakeholder issues... This does not mean that it was intended to wait till 24th of August before management declared their hand... It means to me that they had up to 2 months to sort out what they needed to to progress the acquisition.... This could have happened any time after the initial extension, and it took all the time requested plus a little more, if in fact they have managed to resolve the issues.... Here we are past due date and nothing said on the market... These are the facts.... Whilst personally I am still on the positive side, and don't think we are at panic stations, it reinforces the reason why this stock is not much better than cash value at this point in time.... Market needs some confidence in management.....
On the flip side, I still think it is a golden deal for all the parties , and I can see why it is in the best interests of all to get it over the line
We will just have to wait and see what comes next... I'm tipping Monday myself
