    More High Grade at Paro Prospect;

    Drilling to Accelerate
    Following a two and a half week scheduled maintenance break by the contractor, RC drilling resumed during the course of the last week at the Paro Prospect, located 650 metres north of the main deposit at Mineral Hill.

    Hole PARC012 on section 5750mN, the first hole from which assay results have been received since the resumption of drilling, returned an intercept of

    5m @ 27.43 g/t Au from 57m
    – including 1m @ 116.5 g/t Au from 57m.

    This hole was targeted to intersect mineralisation below previously reported Hole PARC006, (ASX announcement 27 August 2004) which returned 4m @ 19.82 g/t
    Au from 51m (see attached figure). Hole PARC012 also intersected zones of mineralisation west and east of the central high grade core, across a zone of alteration widening with depth. Each of the central, western and eastern zones of mineralisation is open at depth.
    This zone is 50 metres south of Hole PARC002 that returned 19m at 5.58g/t Au from a depth of 18 metres (true width 4.2m) at section 5700mN (ASX announcement 8 September 2004).
    Based on these results, the Company believes that deeper drilling is warranted to confirm the structure and distribution of the gold in this part of the system. Several additional holes, including at least one diamond hole, will be added later in the current programme to better assess the distribution and structural setting of the high grade gold mineralisation which appears to be increasing with depth.

    Drilling to Accelerate

    The Company plans to accelerate completion of the remaining infill drill programme at the main deposit at Mineral Hill with the addition of a night shift expected to commence by mid to late October. Due to safety considerations this was not possible at the less accessible target areas within Mining Lease SML 57 previously drilled in the campaign.

    Yours faithfully
