    No, as COVID did not contribute to the reason the person was in ICU. It's quite easy for hospitals to tell if COVID was contributing significantly to ICU by comparing historical numbers. You wouldn't expect a sudden influx of people cutting off their leg with COVID. No rocket science needed.
