It looks as though AMP is recovering. Slowly but surely. Super is no passing fad. It's here to stay, with both sides of politics supporting it. While there is compulsory super, companies like AMP will prosper, underpinned by this reliable flow of cash.
AMP only does super, life insurance and a little banking. Very safe areas of business. General insurance is not their game.
I still believe it could be a takeover target, but later on in the future. Possibly when there is another bull market.
