Wow what a great start to the year for cer.I'm starting to see something different even though it’s early days yet for the cer holders, but this type of trend that we are witnessing is very exciting and must be for the day traders as well i.e. trend is your friend scenario "One For The Day Traders (lol)" .. Looks a lot more attractive than a falling knife which was the case last year; as 2008 was a complete wash out for cer and the asx as a whole. No real play what so all for any short –medium term investors i.e. who like holding their shares for a period of months as appose to in and out of a stock on a daily basis… and if there were any gains last year then this would be very minimal in one’s portfolio. This year should be a good one for cer as Value Investors start to peep at sp movements and might even consider taking up a “Bigger Position in cer and holding on for the ride in 2009 which will be a lot better than last year.

I still believe that investors who adopt at rational approach to investing by investing in companies that represent a huge discount to intrinsic value are the ones that will benefit in the end phaze of the next bull market. Provided you have thoroughly done your research then one must say that buying cer at current levels for the long term still provides an attractive entry point to the market.

Once investor sentiment starts to improve, which we are slowly witnessing day to day so far in 2009,( but still early days yet) as shareholders are tired of the “Extended Losses”<<

If you are serious about making money this year and the years to come then u need to block out the market noise i.e. “The world is going to end tomorrow” and concentrate on the company and the companies future over the next 5-10 years and the relationship between share price and business performance. If today’s prices aren’t bargains for “Some” asx listed companies then one should get their eyes checked from a local eye specialist lol..jokingly..…

I’m glad I hold this stock as I can see that the early stages are very promising for cer and when people start to look deeper into the financials for both companies and begin to realize the difference between cer and cnp then the gradual crossover of sp will extend even further as both entities start to part on a common sense value perspective.

I don’t really focus on the day to day movements in cer as I’m holding for the longer term and as I mentioned on a number of occasions I’m really looking at what the business is worth and one of my main rules a long with a few others is>> What is cer worth? And for that matter what is any business worth?? that is listed on the stock exchange. What would u pay to own the business outright or become a partner? and that has been my thinking for my other long term plays over the years as I believe share price should mirror the business performance. But in saying this I’m happy for the day traders who have made money on this just as long as we “Keep Moving North Easterly” and eventually trading at respectable levels again which can be justified through n.t.a.

    Cheers

and lets all see some value back into this company via sp..
