Have heard the same thing in my occasional travels to Woods Point about Hepburn Brown.

Seems that he failed to plan for some very basic requirements. first the new winder has been designed to the wrong code. secondly the plan for getting rid of tailings is way behind the construction of the mill. thirdly he failed to assess the 25 year old shaft steel structure. apparently it's in need of repair.

So now they're playing catch up on site. Hope the new crew can keep things on track.
