bugeye50 it's not just Benny Hills that is warning that UNI is scamming people...

Today's [27/12/06 - 1/1/06] Aust. Financial Review pp. 19 awards BOS Pierpont's dubious distinction award for 2006 Shareholder of the Year.

'To the elusive Roger Williamson, largest shareholder in Unilife medical Solutions Ltd. Roger was a seed capitalist in Unilife (then Unitract), taking 20 million shares at 3 cents each. After the company floated, he sold half his holding at prices ranging from 20 cents to $2, generating handsome profits. The only problem was that Roger didn't seem to exist. His only address was a serviced office in London.

Then Louise Whtie, the former de facto of Unilife's founder, Alan Shortall, sued Alan to recover shares and money she alleged he owed her. During the case, her counsel alleged that Roger did not exist and was in fact Alan. Alan denied this on oath, so of course it cannot be. The moral of the story is to avoid enraging your de facto. And Pierpont just hopes tha ASIC wasn't in the the court taking notes.'
