Sorry but can't agree with you there Mac. I think we'll see more on Jabiru including the details in the period before the end of August.

All in all, given the scope and complexity of the project it doesnt surprise me in any way that they couldnt meet June 30, which is essentially an arbitrary date they picked out a while ago. Almost all major projects take longer than expected and this is no different. However, what they did very poorly was keep the punters informed of why they didn't meet their June 30 commitment. As far back as 8 months ago there was a whisper that August was the more likely date for any announcement but that doesnt seem to have been communicated at all.

It's a bit of arrogance on their part and takes away from the credibility they've been working hard to build and have done a pretty good job at over the last 18 months. But all things considered, if they can pull it off, i couldnt care less if it takes another 6 months before they can announce it - limited downside, good assetts and sayonara to the cash burn.

Also, I though NEWTG was on sabbatical from hotcopper duties. Are you talking about a post he made on TS? I must have missed it.

You can be sure NEWTG doesnt let them off easily with any slip ups though. Apparently he gives them a hard time when its required which is a service for us all.
