The earbuds are branded ‘HP’ so it’s not a $ investment, it’s a brand name investment…the larger the company the bigger the brand reputation risk that MUST be managed
the development of the HP app which manages earbud confit is a further investment by HP…again brand, effort and strategic nature of direction take headsets to ‘wireless managed by app’
so I can’t disagree more with your statement
