Just scanning over this thread, and I was brought back to discussions from 5 years ago.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a lot of backlash when Shenge was originally thought into the fold? I do remember a lot of limits being imposed about percentage of ownership in the future. So with that in mind, we'd theoretically never face an Arafura type situation.
i remember it taking weeks to get allowances for sino ownership and investment, and a little discussion during the roadshows where there was concern about importing a Chinese work force - but that was all layed to rest with protection in place for the local workforce.
It might just be how I remember it.
On a side note, I think we're in for an exciting journey. I've found the whole process very interesting so far, and the pay off will eventually be worth it.
