From my experience, significant transactions may require a special resolution of members (ie 75%). To change the name will generally require a special resolution. Having said that, we still may get an announcement leading up to the AGM requiring a subsequent meeting of members for such a special resolution.
If Geoff Brayshaw becomes a director / company secretary of RMG, we can expect a better flow of information on a go forward basis. Just frustrating at the moment.
