Our 2022 scoping study had a payback time of 2.5 years, an AISC of A$1475 and gold price of A$2430.
Using then first year production 150,000 oz (gearing up to $170,000 pa from year 2) and the current gold price, we may have a profit after costs of $355 million in year 1. So I'm expecting a good drop in the payback period in the updated study.
These are rubbery figures. The AISC and CAPEX may have changed. But not as significantly as the gold price has or our 70% lift in indicated resource. In any event the payback period should have a one point something in the update I would think. We will find out soon enough.
