I haven't read every ASH announcement or gone back through its annual reports, but shouldn't you be allowing for some rise in the number of issued shares if management incentives kick in and shares (eventually) vest?
Perhaps the difference may be marginal in terms of a dividend, but it ought still be accounted for.
