Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are interesting but potentially portfolio destroying when they crash to nothing and it will, as has no real value ... a few interesting articles in the paper articulated it nicely
It only has value if you are a country like North Korea, Venezuela or are a murderer, drug dealer or selling illegal goods.

Personally and as an example I won't even invest in coal or coal related companies because it's not a moral investment for our future. Money At all costs isn't my goal. I'd rather invest in something I believe can help society and hence has deserved rewards. And I'm here for the long term - with each quarter derisking and as markets open, new products get developed and released in a methodical fashion.
