Hey mate, one easy way to tell is to check what the funds are being used for (“use of funds” section).
In most PE backed floats (Eg Adore Beauty) the PE sponsor will typically look to sell down their position. I normally only invest in IPOs where the funds being raised are going into the business to grow it, not into the pockets of existing shareholders (founders, PE firms etc).
Not a hard and fast rule but it’s one of my threshold criteria for IPO investing.
