I've never seen third party QA/QC people used for mud engineering. Occasionally I've worked on jobs for big operators where they've had an in house Mud Engineer or a consultant usually working town side in addition to the service company Mud Engineers rig side. Aztec will be providing much of the expertise in the design and operation of the SBM mud program for the next well.
