From what I can see there are two issues:

1) time dependent mechanical hole deterioration. Possibly related to regional stress regime. Solutions: LWD for logs increases chance of getting full set of logs and reduces chances of losing tools. At a minimum run wireline for first run and then LWD formation tester/sampler. Higher cost than wireline but potentially cheaper than days spent fishing and mucking around with the hole...and potentially ending up abandoning attempts to get pressures and samples.
2) Differential sticking. Directly related to mud system (weight and fluid loss). Solution: SBM, fine tune mud parameters. Difficult to fine tune mud weight without a handle on what reservoir pressure is in Angwa.
