The case of the additional 'zones' can b easily resolved now by running a VSP (vertical seis profile) tool.
This probably should have been done after they had finished the logging runs (prior to testing).
The data frm the well profile can b tied-in with their existing 3D reflectors, which will lead to the fine tuning of their model, thus giving due merit to each zone coupled with their real time gas data, reservoir pressure records, porosity/perm et al.
A lot gets done with a field's model, behind the scenes, after the VSP profile & flow rates etc r collated. The volumetrics can then b refined/moved into a 2C/3C category after all relevant data is tied into the model.
cheers
