Righto time for me to swallow my pride. Q4 was underwhelming. New product range strikes me as being incredibly risky, they are launching into an incredibly saturated market with barely a household name under their belt. If children’s supplements really is a market to be in, then blackmores will eat it up.
jennifer Hawkins as ambassador? Meh.. and she breastfeeds. Who’s her followers? Are they that naive to follow her quite obvious product endorsement for $?
the stockpiling in q3 brought forward revenue from q4. We expected this to happen, but also for it to be a great opportunity to acquire new customers. It would appear those customers just went back to their preferred brand when the shelves were restocked.
sorry but these are all really poor business decisions imo.
I reluctantly sold this morning for a hit. To those holding I wish you the best. I will monitor and perhaps jump back in closer to q1 2021.
